Does my bike qualify

The club is a pre1999 club this means, the club has set a date on bikes that are allowed to participate at our events, they are bikes made before 1 Jan 1999, they must not have any upgrades or parts fitted from newer bikes that are not the same as the original configuration of the 1998 bike.  The bikes do not have to be licenced as we run on private properties so you can run an enduro or MX bike.  You may also ride a follow on model.

Follow on models: are bikes made after 1 Jan 1999 and have retained the same frame, suspension, brakes and engine, the onus is on the members to show proof that the bike they want considered is exactly the same as a 1998 model.

Female riders: May ride any motor bike new or old.  However, if they wish to participate in certain club events, such as the Black Diamond or other specified events, they must ride a pre1999 bike.

Over 65 riders: May ride any motor bike new or or old .  However, if they wish to participate in certain club events, such as the Black Diamond or other specified events, they must ride a pre1999 bike.

If you have any doubt as to your bike’s eligibility or the eligibility of a bike you want to purchase please contact the club, we do not like having to turn bikes away.  So please do your due diligence before making a decision.
