CAPEL 200

CAPEL 200 EVENT UPDATE

What a day, perfect weather perfect riding conditions and a great track. The Vinduro WA club put on an awesome display for the big turn out of spectators and riders, over a dozen Vinduro bikes on display and probably the same amount of riders. A lot of interest shown from the spectators on our bikes and the Vinduro WA club. Our exhibition track got a lot of use from Vinduro and modern bikes and kept the crowd entertained. There was plenty to see and do all day, and the show and shine tents had a good line up of vintage dirt bikes that got a lot of attention.

A big thank you to the Ironstone Adventure riding club for inviting Vinduro WA to the Capel 200, and we are looking forward to next years event already.

CAPEL 200 UPDATE

Hi All,

The Capel 200 and the Capel river classic is shaping up to be a great event. A few of the committee members travelled to Capel to mark out the exhibition track and to catch up with Jeremy Connor. The track is on the side of the hill right next to the pits. Tight little track, that all the Vinduro and classic MXWA riders will really enjoy. We have been allocated a top spot right next to the Capel river classic show and shine marquee , to setup our marquee to display our Vinduro bikes and showcase the club. whether your riding the Capel 200 or the exhibition track, or just displaying your bike and checking out all the other bikes , its going to be a an awesome day. Come along and support your club. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Check out these photos of our area and the best ever exhibition track.

Hi all,

I had a good chat with Jeremy Connor in regards to members attending and competing in the Capel 200, and the following points were discussed,- unregistered bikes can be ridden in the Capel 200 on a One Day Rally Registration Permit (lights not required) that IARC obtains on behalf of the rider, cost about $40 to $45.-Let me know how many Vinduro WA bikes you think you will be displaying, and roughly how much area you need for your pit tent(s).-There is an ideal area where we could set up a demo special test suited to Vinduro bikes that both riders and spectators would definitely enjoy. –Best if you could make it down to the property before the event and have a look. So there is a few options for our members, Display bikes in our own area. Setup and ride a special demo area. Register and ride the Capel 200 event. For those keen to ride the special demo test area, we would need a couple of volunteers to help setup the track before the event. We would need to provide Jeremy with the amount of members wanting to attend, so that we can organize an area for our bikes etc. It will be a great event, and it will showcase our club.
