Great Southern Motorcycles Frankland River Vinduro. 25-26 March.

Event report

The Vinduro season got off to a great start with 35 riders enjoying the awesome Vinduro loop at the Frankland River event. The rain held off, with only an occasional drizzle over the two days . The track offered a bit of everything, from rocky outcrops to long open field sections and a motocross track in the mix aswell. I nice tight section alongside the river caught out a few riders with the low overhanging tree branches. There was also a few deep sandy sections that tested out all the riders skills and gave thier clutches a good workout.

Saturday night kicked off with awesome Lamb rolls with the lamb supplied by Grant and the rolls donated by John Hetherington, thanks guys. As per usual a few quite drinks where enjoyed around the bonfire.

Most riders enjoyed a few more laps around the loop on Sunday before the event wound up around lunch time.

Thanks to Grant Warburton and family for hosting the event, and also thanks to Great Southern Motorcycles for sponsoring this top event.

Looking forward to seeing you all again at the next Vinduro event at the Collie Motorplex.
