Your name on the public walls

A new privacy option — and what’s live for you

A quick note from the club site team about a privacy option we’ve just put live on vindurowa.com.au — and what we’ve set up on your account.

Public display (turned on for you)

G.W.

instead of your full name on public bike cards

What we built

Members can now choose to show only initials on public pages — for example Simon Thomas becomes S.T., and Glenn Williams becomes G.W.

That covers The Lineup (cards, ride pages, personal walls), Classics member bikes, Track View, and similar show-off spots. Your full name stays on your account, in edit screens when you’re signed in, and in club email.

What we activated for you

We’ve already turned “Show only my initials” on for your membership. On the public site your rides and wall now show G.W. rather than your full name.

You can change this any time under Preferences — no need to re-edit each bike.

How to switch it off (or leave it on)

Sign in → Preferences → Public name on bikes → untick Show only my initials if you’d rather show your full name again. Tick it back on anytime.

Open Preferences →

Your wall of Shame and Fame

Your personal Lineup wall is still the same shareable link. The heading now uses G.W. on the public page.
